Profitable Web
What is it need it to load a web page to the internet?
1. do i need an FTP protocol or what type of software do i need?
2. If it’s going to be a non-profitable web site (.org), who do I need to contact to get it upload?
3.If it’s going to be a .com in the other hand, who do I need to contact?
You need to contact a web hosting service. Yahoo has one called Geocities.
Web hosts have servers, where your site is stored.
Most web hosters come with an upload option, but if you like, you can use FTP software, but you shouldn’t really need that.
When you’ve uploaded your site, you will need to organise it to exactly how it was designed on your computer (such as putting the images which were originally stored in a folder called: my pics, in to a directory called: my pics).
Youre web hoster will have help information if you are unsure of how to do this.
